I am professionally trained in tourism, having graduated from the Institute for Hotel and Catering, and specialised in “Techniques of Tourism Services”.
I successfully completed several internships, of which:
- Hospitality industry, working in a hotel. My roles included Receptionist and carrying out the main duties of Front and Back Office;
- Travel Agency, working in a busy Front Office, my duties included: sales of various tickets(air/train/bus), dealing with tour package bookings, vouchers and using the information contained in travel catalogues;
- Salerno Tourist Info Point, I was involved in all the bureau’s activities; dealing with hospitality to visitors and locals alike, managing their enquiries and requests and resolving any related issues.
I have contributed to the promotion and organization of an information network between accommodation, catering companies and associations, through leafleting and updating of the database.
During these years, in addition to the knowledge of the basic techniques in the world of hospitality (kitchen and lounge/ bar etc), there was no lack of practical experience in this field: I have worked as a waitress in these events and/or banquets, acquiring more and more professional competences.
So thanks to all my studies, all my professional experience and all my passions, I have aquired to date, a wide range of good organizational and interpersonal skills, which together with my outgoing personality, I can utilize them to the full, also in a multilingual and multicultural context.
